Running All Turf Areas Valves on Rain Dial Timer
Do you ever wonder how to run an entire program of valves on your Irritrol RainDial timer. This is a great way to cycle through all your turf area valves or maybe you want to run the entire dip program on your property here in Phoenix. We find that customers may want to get more water on their lawns without increasing the daily run times or maybe you just want to test the whole system and look for any sprinkler issues.
On the video in this blog we are going to run all the turf valves that are on program A with my controller. Here are the steps written down:
Make sure you are on the correct program (in this case program A) in the top left hand corner of the timer/controller.
Make sure that the bottom of the controller is on “Run or Manual”
Hit the “semi-auto” button on the bottom left hand side of the controller
You should see the first numbered zone on the top of the screen (in this sample you will see number 1 representing station 1 turf valve)
You can also use these same steps to run all of the drip valves we have saved on program B which is separated so we can water the drip at different days and times.
