Christmas Tree Disposal Resources
Its the week after Christmas and its time to start thinking about how to dispose of your Christmas tree. If you have the means to transport your tree somewhere you can actually take it to these locations for no cost to be composted. However, if you do not have the ability to transport your tree please feel free to to contact AMS Landscaping and we can haul your tree away for you but contacting us at azlawns.com.
The Public Works Department offers Phoenix residents several drop-off locations for their live Christmas trees and wreaths to be composted. Trees or wreaths may be dropped off at any of the participating Phoenix parks anytime between Sunday, Dec. 26, 2021 and Saturday, Jan. 8, 2021. Only live trees and wreaths are accepted, not plastic trees and wreaths. Trees and wreaths will be composted at the City of Phoenix Compost Facility. Phoenix Residents may bring their Christmas trees to A to Z Equipment Rentals and Sales locations during these dates:

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Sunday, Dec. 26 to Wednesday, Jan. 5

Open until noon on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31

Closed on New Year’s Day, Friday, Jan. 1
* Trees accepted at no charge, but only one tree per household.
Trees must be free from decorations and tree stands.
