Willow Acacia trees are a great desert tree for the Phoenix, AZ climate. These trees grow fast and upright to about 30 feet high. They are a low litter tree but are not deciduous.  They are pretty low maintenance but we usually trim the bottoms up to keep clear for pedestrians. Willow Acacia trees are also low water use trees and do well in our hot summers and are frost tolerant in the winter. These trees are great shade trees but still allow filtered sun for turf areas as well.
