Perennial Rye Seed Is In Short Supply This Year For A Winter Lawn 

Winter overseeding this year will be in short supply and more costly than normal.  This is causing an increase in cost for installation for many landscaping companies here in the greater Phoenix area.

1. Extreme weather from lack of rain to excessive heat in parts of Oregon where most of our seed is grown.

2. Wildfires in Oregon have been massive and have caused damage to thousands of acres.

3. Gray tailed Vole has a 40 day breeding cycle and is causing a nuisance on seed farms.

4. Transportation cost increases.
