Fertilization Strong healthy grass can only be achieved through property nutrient supplementation. Arizona soil and low rain fall contribute to the necessity for additional nutrients to be added.
Winter Rye Overseeding Winter overseeding allows you to use your grass area at the time of year when the weather is bearable. With thousands of yards overseeded, you can rest assured we can provide a beautiful winter lawn.
Pre-emergent Pre-emergent guarantees against broadleaf weeds for 6 months in all granite areas. We subcontract this service out to a licensed weed applicator. We recommend this service every 6 months (exceptions are Bermuda and nut grass).
Aeration and Dethatching Aeration provides the root system of your lawn access to deeper watering and nutrient availability. It’s suggested very 2 – 3 years, either deep root plug aeration or simple surface aeration.
Tree Trimming We recommend a professional tree arborist to trim all trees above 8 feet to keep trees healthy and safe during the monsoon season.
Tall Shrub Trimming We do have equipment available to maintain plants above 8 feet in height- just let us know and we can provide the additional pricing necessary.
Cactus Cleanup

Initial Cleanup or One Time Cleanups

One time seasonal cleanup includes:

Mow and edge turf area (If applicable). Mowing height to be determined by technician.
Trim all bushes on property to the 8ft level. Trimming height and shape to be determined by technician. If you have specific height requirements or shape make sure it has been clarified before services occur.
All trees (except citrus) will be skirted or ‘decked’ to the 6 ft level. This allows a clean and neat appearance and allows walking under the trees. Our crews are not equipped to trim branches over 2″ in diameter as part of skirting.
Weed treatment – weeds will be cut down and will be treated chemically in order to kill the roots below the ground in non-turf areas. (Manually removing weeds with shovels and hoes can be done for an additional fee, but we recommend treating chemically to be more effective.)
Property will be blown to remove landscape debris. We do our best to blow the property thoroughly; there are things that may contribute to the quality of the blowing, such as wind, rain, patio furniture, yard debris and quantity of plant material.
It is common for leaves to end up on patio furniture due to being blown and not falling to the ground before cleanup.

Things to Look Out For

It is important that the gate is unlocked and dogs are restrained BEFORE our crews arrive. If the gate is locked our crews will skip the backyard, however you will be charged the full amount for service.

If we are unable to service the backyard at our regular interval additional charges may apply once we are able to service the backyard. (It’s imperative that we keep you on the original cycle to keep fuel & drive time cost down and our prices level)

Our crews will skip any areas with dog poop unless we include that in the regular service. If an area is unserviceable you will be charged the normal rate, if continued additional service charges may apply once the area is again serviceable.

We do offer pet service, please contact us about that cost.

Weekly / Bi-Weekly / 4 Week Basic Maintenance Services

Mow and edge turf area (if applicable). Mowing height to be determined by technician.
Trim bushes on property up to 8ft level. Trimming is done on as ‘as-needed’ basis and determined by our technicians. We will keep plants off of walkways, away from each other and off of structures where possible.
Our trimming is done keeping the plants health in mind, we strive to retain color where possible while maintaining a clean appearance. We DO NOT trim every bush every visit but rather focus on sections of the yard each visit.
Cutting back shrubs beyond the regular pruning is additional and fees are added for the additional work and hauling that is incorporated with cutting shrubs back beyond the color of the leaves.
Trees (except Citrus/Fruit) will be skirted or ‘decked’ to the 8ft level. This allows a clean and neat appearance and allows walking under the trees.
Our crews are not equipped to trim branches over 2″ in diameter as part of skirting. This may not be done every visit but is done as needed by our arborist per your request.
Weeds will be treated chemically in non-turf areas. We do sometimes use a dye indicator (color) in our weed mix to show where our crews have sprayed. During the winter months this color may take 5 – 7 days to completely disappear; during summer months it is typically gone by the end of the day.
Property will be blown to remove landscape debris. We do our best to blow the property thoroughly, however there are things that may contribute to the quality of the blowing; such as wind, rain, patio furniture, yard debris, and quantity of plant material.
It is common for leaves to end up on patio furniture due to being blown and not falling to the ground before cleanup.
Crews will adjust timers seasonally and report any sprinkler issues.
